Verified as Natowa Government
Natowa has recorded the largest economy in its history, with newly released estimates placing the Commonwealth's 2026 gross domestic product at approximately $4.78 million (PPP).
The figure represents the highest GDP reported by Natowa or its predecessor, San Aurelio, and marks a substantial increase from San Aurelio's estimated $600,000 GDP in 2025. Based on Natowa's 2026 census population of 107, GDP per capita is estimated at approximately $44,689.
The new estimate was calculated using the expenditure approach, measuring household consumption, investment, government expenditure and net exports. Economic activity occurring within Natowa's boundaries was included regardless of the citizenship of those participating.
Household consumption was by far the largest component, accounting for approximately $3.7 million, or 77.4% of total GDP.
The increase brings Natowa's estimated economy to nearly eight times the size reported by San Aurelio in 2025, establishing a new record across both governments.
Other economic and development indicators released for 2026 include a Gini coefficient of 12.7 and a Human Development Index of 0.932, the latter falling within the very high human development category.
The GDP figures mark the first time Natowa's economy has been estimated using a detailed expenditure-based calculation, providing a new benchmark for measuring economic activity in future years.
