Overview

The Commonwealth of Natowa operates as a federal presidential republic in accordance with the Constitution of Natowa. Government authority is divided into three branches: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Each branch operates within the limits established by the Constitution.

Executive Branch

Executive power is vested in the President of the Commonwealth of Natowa. The President serves as both head of state and head of government.

The Vice President supports the President in executive functions and assumes the duties of the President in the event of the President's inability to serve, in accordance with the succession provisions of the Constitution.

The President is responsible for enforcing the laws of the Commonwealth, holds veto authority over legislation passed by the Council, makes nominations to government positions as defined by the Constitution, and may take emergency measures within the limits established by law.

Legislative Branch

The Council is authorized to confirm nominations made by the President, exercise financial oversight where applicable under the Constitution, and initiate impeachment proceedings against officials of the Executive and Judicial branches.

Judicial Branch

Judicial power is vested in the Supreme Court of Natowa. The Court serves as the highest judicial authority in the Commonwealth.

The Supreme Court is responsible for interpreting the Constitution of Natowa and reviewing the acts of the Executive and Legislative branches for constitutional compliance.
